Pet Rescue
We are a no kill nonprofit 501(c)(3) volunteer run organization dedicated to the care and placement of cats in need. Cat Tales is committed to providing the cats in our care with love, shelter, food and veterinary care until a permanent home can be found. The cats are never euthanized unless recommended by a veterinarian to end pain and suffering.
About us
“We get paid in Purrs”
Cat Tales was incorporated in 2002. We operate with an experienced Board of Directors subject to a set of By-Laws that govern how the organization is run. Cat Tales is fully insured under a comprehensive liability policy. None of our volunteers receive compensation for the work they do to save the cats. This is a labor of love.
All donations made to Cat Tales are used exclusively for the care of our animals and are tax deductible. We all work together to raise funds to support the rescue efforts. We do this through adoption and surrender fees, donations, grants and fund-raising. As an adoption partner with Petsmart, Cat Tales receives money for each adoption.
We rescue an average over 400 per year. The rescued cats come from calls to our hotline and through our website and social media from people who want to surrender their own cat or who have found a stray.
We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers in various capacities to help us in the rescue work. Please contact us at info@cattalesinc.org if you are interested.
